On this episode, I begin by paying tribute to a teacher that embodied everything a teacher should be, and had a massive impact on the Pikeview High School community. Then, Laura Blankenship of the Better Business Bureau joined us for our "Scam of the Week" segment. This week, we found ourselves once again discussing text scams about fake tolls as they have now spread far and wide to the point it's at the top of their list, too! After that, in Beckley, a local franchisee is looking to set up a Starbucks right next door to a local shop, spawning a wave of complaints and discussion as to what should, or what even can be done about it. Finally, on what would have been her 104th birthday, I take a minute to pay tribute to one of the most incredible women I've ever met, my Grandma Rose Marino.
