I'll talk about examples I know and many that have been on the show. Then, we speak to two great examples of D.I.Y. First up, Lisa Karnes, owner of Jackass Farms LLC. and operator of Goat Yoga. She tells us about the huge success of her first season that's about to wrap up. Then, I had the great fortune to interview and use the music of Penelope Scott. Penelope is a wildly successful musician who has found a new formula of success that relies more on TikTok and streaming services than the old-school label driven model and she tells us about what it's like to rocket to stardom, in the middle of a pandemic, from songs she made and recorded alone in her room.
