On this episode, another trip to the rural areas where Mercer meets Wyoming Co. revealed to me just how much ATV/Trail money has flowed into the area, how much has changed in a very short period of time, and how much more change (in my opinion) is still to come. Then, the onset of another high school football season and the technological advances available for even you local high school football game serve as a reminder that we live in unprecedented times. Finally, a coalition of advocacy groups and citizens are working on a plan to create a monument of some sort to the oft-forgotten, segregated history of the East End/Northside neighborhoods of Bluefield, WV. There will also reportedly be several grants allocated for a number of improvement projects.
