Then, I spoke with Hayley Myers of the Better Business Bureau for our "Scam of the Week" where she old us about scammers pretending to be with Publisher's Clearing House that never bring a big check, only big problems. Finally, I spoke with WV artist Lady D, whose group "Lady D & The Mission" will be one of many performing in Beckley, Saturday July 6th at the 2024 Bill Withers Music Festival. We talked about the show, the upcoming installation of the Bill Withers statue, and why he stands out as so much more than just a famous musician that happened to be from the mountain state.
