Ralph Northam and his wife tested positive for COVID-19, we thought it would be a good time to listen back to our interview with Connie Waskey, a registered nurse who caught the virus along with he husband and daughter. Her story emphasizes how difficult it can be to contain the spread and the variety of ways people can be adversely affected. Then, we spoke with Sharon Ausborne and Calvin Mitchell of TP's Auto Repair and Home Remodeling about their new business. We wrapped up Becky Brown, who is the Coordinator for the McDowell County We Can Mentoring Program. She discussed what it means to be a mentor and how you can sign up if you've got what it takes.
