What’s Next 641 (Police Pay & Firefighter Funding, Special Session Rundown, A Classic Tactic)

On this episode, the Bluefield, WV City Board of Directors continues to mull the idea of a pay raise for the city police and at the same time, the Mercer Co. Commission granted a chunk of A.R.P. funds to the local Volunteer Fire Departments. Then, I do a quick rundown of some of the most important legislation passed during WV's recent special session. Finally, comments following the Charleston City Council's decision to deny the Women's Health Center application to start a needle exchange seem to paint the proponents in an irresponsible light. Evidence seems to refute these claims and reveal what I think is a common tactic for politicians to use when voting on difficult issues.
