On this episode, I start by giving the time, location, and subject of an upcoming special meeting of the Mercer County Commission that is set to address the overflowing animal shelter and complaints of wild animals running loose. Then, I spoke with Laura Blankenship of the Better Business Bureau for our "Scam of the Week". Since I was out last week, you get 2! We discuss the prevalence of "Ghost Tax Preparers" & the new wave of pages impersonating businesses so they can get private data from customers complaining online. Finally, I took a minute to discuss a scandal in Nicholas Co. where the board of education has acknowledged they had hired (and now have fired) a registered sex offender, who just so happens to also be the grandson of the county superintendent.
