What’s Next 999 (Blood Moon & Sacrificing Students, Slashing Schools & Food Banks & Farms, Batting 1000, Child Labor Champions)

On this episode, I saw the Blood Moon lunar eclipse and the sacrificial vibes of it reminded me of what's happening to public education in West Virginia. We're laying our offering upon the altar of school choice. Then, the USDA has seen fit in their infinite, efficiency seeking wisdom, to cut 2 programs that help school cafeterias, food banks, and farmers. Then, I have a favor to ask of all of you as I prepare for a whole week celebrating 1000 episodes of the show. Finally, I had to rant for a moment about a proposed bill in the WV legislature that would eliminate steps currently in place for 14 & 15 year old kids to get a work permit. Kids working is good. The nationwide trend of states passing laws like this so fast food chains can seek to exploit youth labor... not so much.
