On this episode, Bluefield, WV officials announced the sewer rate will increase incrementally over the next 5 years and they also laid out their plans of what they plan to do with that money. Then, Mercer County officials are warning folks to steer clear of swimming in the Bluestone river as they figure out how to repair a faulty sewage pump. Finally, lawyers with the WV Dept. of Human Services have asked for a summary judgement to more-or-less dismiss a 2019 lawsuit on behalf of the state's foster children, and their reason seems flimsy to me, and perhaps a little poorly timed.
