What’s Next 589 (Extension for the Extension, AirBnBs in Bluefield, Kids in the Kitchen)

On this episode, one of WV's 1st proposed "brick & mortar" charter schools has asked for yet another extension in order to open the school in the first place. Then, a recent conversation compelled me to see how many AirBnbs were available in our area, which led to surprising finds and a realization about the fundamental ways this affects the hospitality industry. Finally, a recent investigation by the Dept. of Labor found a litany of cases in which fast-food kitchens were staffed with underage workers in violation of the law, but this only scratches the surface of what's happening in American fast-food restaurants.
